Pauline Jaske of Fairway

Motor Carriers Association Annual Meeting luncheon held on November 15 at the
Alliant Energy Center in Madison.
Each
year, the Babbitt Award is presented on behalf of the association to an
individual who has shown outstanding service to the association, the trucking
industry, and the community. Presenting the award this year was Evelyn Skinner of Skinner Transfer in Reedsburg, the 2000 Babbitt Award
winner.
Jaske

supportive of the WMCA. She has been an active member of the Wisconsin DOT’S
Motor Carrier Advisory Committee. She has been an annual participant in both the
WMCA Legislative Day in Madison and the WMCA-ATA Congressional program in
Washington D.C. and has testified numerous times before the Legislature on bills
that are important to the trucking industry.
Being
a registered nurse, Jaske has always placed a huge emphasis on highway safety.
She has generously supported numerous safety programs, including the WMCA’s
Council of Safety Supervisors, the Milwaukee area Truck safety Committee, and
the Wisconsin Road Team.
Jaske
is also the Chair of the Waukesha Technical College Committee that is developing
the new Transportation Center for the southeastern portion of the state.
Her enthusiasm and involvement have resulted in her recently being
elected to the Waukesha Technical College Board. Jaske has also been elected to
serve on the Waukesha County Board of Supervisors.
