WISCONSIN DRIVER IS ROOKIE OF THE YEAR AT THE NTDC

Don Jepson, Roadway Express, was Rookie of the Year at the ATA National Truck Driving Championships in Tampa. The competition was held at the Tampa Convention Center from Aug. 17 - 20, 2005, Jepson was a champion in the Sleeper Class and a rookie competitor at the Wisconsin Truck Driving Championships held at the Waukesha County Technical College, Pewaukee on June 24 - 25, 2005. To be Rookie of the Year at the ATA NTDC, a driver must be a rookie and a champion at his state competition and have the largest margin over the average score for his class of competition at the NTDC. Jepson also earned a second place trophy in the Sleeper Class at the NTDC.

Mark Hassemer, Yellow Transportation, earned a second place trophy in the 4-Axle Van Class at the NTDC. For a complete list of the champions at the National Truck Driving Championships go to the ATA website.
